Oh, thank you for this lovely comment. I am so happy you enjoyed the poem! I loved getting to meet you both over our video call. Writers and artists on Substack are so special and restore my faith that people are still living intentionally and beautifully and slowly enough to write and paint.

Thank you, Sarah! It was fun to go research it again and remember what sparked the poem initially and find out what had changed since then. I could get lost in the research stage forever, so these self-imposed weekly deadlines are good for me. 😍
