I have been wrestling with how to engage online without being performative, especially regarding faith, and this was birthed out of my own questions and deep need for God to be at the helm. I am honored by your kind words💚
I think we all start writing with wanting God to be at the helm, and then we can quickly get lost in the storms of social media, the envy, the overwhelm. This was a perfect way to see those thoughts and fears and calm them as only Jesus can.
I’m so thankful we can keep reminding each other to lift our eyes and write for that audience of one at the same time that we are writing as an act of love and service for his people. I think of that verse, “After beginning with the Spirit, do you now try to attain your goal by human effort?” Keep reminding me, friend.
